Ysa Penarejo is an American actress and dancer. She portrays Jennie-Lynn Hayden in the second and third season of the TV series Stargirl.[1]

Ysa Penarejo (born on March 29, 2000) is an American actress and dancer. She began her career as a dancer at the age of four. She took an interest in acting after meeting a mother and daughter at a commercial audition. She then enrolled in acting classes and met her current agent. Early in her career, she appeared in commercials for the Sears and Marshalls department stores. She began her dance training at the age of four. She was born in North Richland Hills, Texas to a Filipino-American family.
She is known best for her role as Toulane Thomas in an American Girl film, McKenna Shoots for the Stars. She also released the popular iTunes single "LIKE Not LOVE." In 2015, she played Camryn Coyle in the Nickelodeon TV series Project MC². She appeared with Missi Pyle in the 2012 TV movie Prodigy Bully.

- After she auditioned for Stargirl she took a break from acting.
- She auditioned under a dummy name of either Lauren or Tiffany.
- When Ysa posted the now-infamous photograph of her holding the hot chocolate cup, she completely forgot that she was wearing the Green Lantern ring. Initially, she wore the Green Lantern ring on her left middle-finger before production switched it to her right hand. When she took the photograph, she was more excited about the giant marshmallow in the cup and didn't remember that the ring had been switched to her right hand.
- The ring is fitted for her finger specifically. There are actually two versions of the ring, with the one in the tin being Alan Scott's before the ring resizes itself to fit Jennie.
