Wendi Tyler (née Harris) is a character in The CW and DC Universe series, Stargirl.
Wendi was the mother of Rick, the wife of Rex, and the sister of Matt Harris. She was a doting mother until her death in a car crash nine years ago.
Biography[]
Wendi grew up in Connecticut and met Rex Tyler when they were children. She would later become his wife and they would have a son together, Rick Tyler.
Ten years ago, after the destruction of the JSA, Wendi moved with Rex as he pursued the ISA in an attempt to seek justice for his fallen friends. They eventually settled in Blue Valley, Nebraska.
Nine years ago, the family had settled in West Farms, Blue Valley, Nebraska, with their son, Rick. Wendi and Rex tried to flee Blue Valley one night, even leaving their son in the custody of Wendi's brother, Matt Harris. They were stopped by Solomon Grundy who caused a car accident that killed the couple. The car crash was ruled an accident, however, it wasn't until nine years later that Rick would learn the reports were falsified.

Wendi was an attractive woman in her thirties with shoulder-length brown hair, fair skin, and brown eyes. She had kind eyes and a kind demeanor. She wore simple clothing.

- In the comics, Wendi Harris was a stage actress before meeting Rex Tyler, aka Hourman.
- Wendi is the only married female character to use her married name and to have a known maiden name. Barbara Whitmore and Paula Brooks use their maiden names while the maiden names of Christine and Lily Mahkent, Maria Montez, and Bridget Chapel are not known. It is unclear whether Anaya Bowin's surname is her own or that of her husband, The Fiddler.
