Suzanne Ito is a posthumous character in The CW series, Stargirl.
She was the late mother of Cindy Burman and the former victim of Dragon King's sinister plan. She tried to hide her daughter from Dragon King's madness, but they were ultimately apprehended which led to Cindy's physical enhancements. A conflicted Cindy lost control of her newly granted powers and accidentally killed Suzanne, an act that haunts her every day.
Biography[]
Suzanne was presumably kidnapped by the deranged Dr. Shiro Ito and they had a child together, a daughter named Cindy. Shiro sought to experiment on Cindy as he had himself, and give her enhanced abilities that would change her personality, appearance, and emotional capacity. Suzanne fled Blue Valley with Cindy and they hid in Farmersville, California, where they began a semblance of a normal life. Cindy awakened from a nightmare one night screaming for her mother. Suzanne rushed in and assured Cindy that her dream of her father coming for her wasn't real, as they were safe here. When Suzanne left the room, Shiro emerged from the shadows. Suzanne and Cindy were brought back to Shiro where Cindy underwent his tests and experiments. He implanted retractable shiv's in Cindy's wrist and altered her physiological state to give her enhancements. Cindy became angry and volatile, often needing to be subdued with gas at Shiro's request. Her temperament made her lash out and she lost control of herself. In third grade, she accidentally killed Suzanne in a moment of anger, but was devastated by the event. She began to close herself off from everyone and by the time Cindy returned to school for fourth grade, she was the meanest girl there.

Suzanne is seen as a loving mother to Cindy when she was alive and only wanted to protect her daughter from her deranged father.

Suzanne was a young woman in her late thirties, with shoulder-length brown hair, soft small brown eyes, and gentle features. She had a small frame but kind mannerisms.
