Hi. While we all appreciate your enthusiasm about the wiki, your edits are going against what we are trying to do here. Our layouts are set and are not going to change, including episode pages.
The Pilot episode is actually called "Stargirl". Each episode the season is named after its respective central character. Renaming an article page based on incorrect information is a violation of our rules.
Adding "Documentation" templates to all of our templates is considered spam, especially since you aren't actually creating any documentation templates. We also don't include those as they really are redundant and don't serve a purpose here. You just created a TON of red links.
I'm not sure what you were trying to achieve when editing episode pages, but those edits have been reverted. I'm sure it was unintentional, but when editing episode pages you somehow added a new error message. "Expression error: Unexpected > operator." This is why those edits were rolled back until whatever is causing that can be rectified.
When you created/editing the Series template, which was approved by FD, you made linked it incorrectly. I'm in the processing of fixing it. The page is titled "Stargirl (TV Series)" not just "Stargirl". It created an unneeded amount of redirects.
You were not given the go-ahead to change anything about our category pages and the way they are designed. We don't want a boxed notification of where they are from. The way they were was perfectly efficent.
I think the main issue here is that your edits are mirroring the Arrowverse wiki's layouts. We have, time and time and time again, told your admins that not only are we not merging, but we also aren't adpating your layouts. Large changes like the ones you were trying to implement should be run past the Admins first. Please educate yourself on our polices/layouts.
I apologize. As I told FD, I did not want to step on any toes as I know you guys are your own thing. Clearly I did step on toes and I apologize. I was just trying to bring consistency throughout your wiki as templates do.
-As for the pilot episode, multiple sources claim that the title is "Pilot" which is why I changed it. I apologize as I didn't realize you wanted to use other sources.
-Documentation I think is very helpful and was planning on adding these. Mainly I was trying to find all the templates that you guys use so that I could learn your formatting of things and realized that most were not in "Category:Tempaltes". That is why I went through and made sure all templates were in there so that other users like myself could learn your policies and layouts regarding templates.
Again, I apologize for interfering. I was simply trying to create more consistency throughout to not have issues later once there is content and users on the wiki. I hope you can forgive me as I was just trying to understand your layouts.
I understand that you had good intentions, and that you were truly just trying to help. You just fell short by not running changes or your plan by the admin team first. Hopefully, you can understand why the changes were perceived as "vandalism" or "layout merging" since they weren't all approved.
The Pilot episode is called "Stargirl" on DC's behalf but marketed as "Pilot" for The CW. It can be confusing, however, we follow more of DC Universe's marketing/sources then the CW. Especially considering the episodes will be different.
The documentation is definitely something you should have run by us first, as it just appeared as though you were making changes with no follow through. The documentation is something we can discuss later :)
We understand your intentions they just didn't seem positive. For instance, making changes to the category pages and adding the notice templates. We aren't interested in those right now, however, we can revisit the topic later.
What kind of consistency were you hoping to achieve? We can totally talk about that and what can happen. As for layouts, if you have an questions please feel free to message me. I hope you can see where we are coming from in this.
