Mercedes is a minor character in the DC Universe series, Stargirl.
She is the housekeeper at the King residence.

Season 1[]
Mercedes is working at the King residence when she sees Henry King Jr. stealing money out of his fathers wallet. She doesn't say anything when he notices. He demands that she makes him eggs for breakfast. She hurries off in fright.[1]
Dr. King was hospitalized for a "coma" which left Henry alone in the residence. He watches his fathers tapes about burgeoning telepathic abilities when the door to the study opens. He uses his powers to grab a knife, only to see Mercedes come through the door. She startles when she sees the knife and he feels bad for scaring her. Henry reads her thoughts about his father and her concern for Henry's well-being, which surprises him. He then "hears" her her opinion that Henry would be better off without his father around. This angers him and he lashes out. She watches him get a crippling pain in his head before he runs out of the house.[2]
Personality[]
Mercedes is a quiet, hardworking woman who cares deeply for the son of her employer. She has empathy for his difficult home life and secretly thinks Henry would be better off if his father died.

Mercedes is a woman in her thirties with black hair, brown eyes, and a round face. She is only seen in her housekeeping uniform.
