Yvette Monreal

Yvette Monreal is an American-Chilean actress. She portrays Yolanda Montez/Wildcat on Stargirl.^[1]

Career

Yvette is known for her work in Matador (2014) as Senna Galan and as Reagan in MTV's Faking It (2014). She also appears in the action film Rambo: Last Blood as John Rambo's niece, who is held captive in Mexico.

Yvette portrays Yolanda Montez/Wildcat on the 2020 DC Universe series, Stargirl.

Trivia

Yvette had to dye her hair jet black for Stargirl.
Yvette sent in a self-tape from Belgium, where she was filming Rambo: Last Blood. Because of her self-tape, she didn't have to go in for a network test.
Yvette is best friends, with Meg DeLacy, who portrays Cindy Burman on Stargirl. They are often seen together off-set and spent most of the 2020 quarantine together.

I really like that they stay accurate to the comics. So just honoring that and exploring it even further would be awesome for me. I would love that. It kind of reminds me of a couple movies that I grew up with. So that would be fun."^[2]
